Telangana University's biggest advantage is its name itself. This is the University which has got the States name as its name. The unique name gives it immediate recognition across the country. The Telangana University name itself offers it a huge advantage in the newly formed Telangana State, where the creation of Bangaru Telangana is the prime inatiative.
It is the third largest University next only to Osmania University (Hyderabad) and Kakatiya University (Warangal) in Telangana State. It is clearly a front runner among all other newly formed universities like Satavahana University (Karimnagar), Mahatma Gandhi University (Nalgonda) and Palamuru University (Mahaboobnagar).
